JOB DESCRIPTION:
PURPOSE:
Working as part of a small, creative team, the purpose of the part time Graphic Design Protégé role is to support art-working and design tasks. The successful candidate will be involved in creating a range of print and online marketing and communication materials for a diverse portfolio of clients. Our Graphic Design Protégé, will work alongside our Creative Lead to produce high-quality design output that captures and promotes our clients’ and Prospect 13’s vision.

- You are well educated to degree level or equivalent in Graphic Design
- You are original and bring a unique design perspective to the team
- You want to put your skills into practice and see your designs come to life
- You have limited experience and starting out in a vibrant agency seems cool
- You have a keen eye and passion for design
- You like collaborating as part of a team but also just get things done
- You are super organised and can find any document required in record time
- You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with people
- You can work to tight deadlines and get a thrill working under pressure
- You are creative and innovative in your approach
- You would describe yourself as responsible and have a strong sense of integrity
- You are efficient using design software and graphics editing software
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Work closely with the marketing team and Creative Lead to brainstorm creative concepts and pitch ideas
- Assist with the creation of promotional materials including flyers, brochures and online materials
- Create eye-catching social media content including carousels, gifs, short videos, and imagery
- Edit, crop, manipulate and subtitle photos and video assets
- Act as a brand guardian for Prospect 13 and our clients, ensuring brand identity and design are adhered to across all channels
- Keep creative folders up to date and organised
- Assist Creative Lead on ad-hoc large-scale projects
- Keep on trend with the latest design trends
REQUIREMENTS:
- A desire to learn and kick start your Graphic Design career
- Strong understanding of design principles
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines
- Well-organised and a team player
- First-rate skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and video editing software e.g. Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Office & MacOS
- Knowledge of design techniques, such as prototyping
- Excellent communication
- HND in Graphic design or related field
- Driving licence preferable
HOURS & SALARY:
15 hours weekly, Monday – Friday, 10am – 1pm
