As Katy settles into her role as Administration Protégé with us at Prospect 13, we thought it would be the perfect time to introduce her a little more and give her the chance to share some fun facts about herself.
- Tell our audience a little bit about Katy…
I am 15 years old, about to go into S5 at Oldmachar Academy and currently doing my Nat 5 exams. I play football for local team Westdyke. I am sport daft and love watching or playing all different sports. I’m also a little bit of a health freak who loves to stay fit through sport and food. My other passion is travel with my family and I would love to keep seeing more of the world whilst trying lots of food and experiencing cultures along the way.
- What is your proudest achievement so far in life?
Obviously, I haven’t been around for long but so far one of my proudest achievements is winning the North U13s League, and losing only one game. However, I feel really proud of my family. My Mum consistently runs an amazing company, my sister is about to study Law at Aberdeen University, and received 4 unconditional university offers and my Dad makes the time to support me and my football team as he has been our coach for almost three years now.
- What are you studying at school?
I am studying 7 National 5s at the moment; Maths, English, Chemistry, History, Modern Studies, PE and Administration.
- What is your dream job role?
I have been struggling to decide on my dream job to be honest. I know it will be something in sport. Whether that be a sports nutritionist or sports journalist or who knows what else. I am studying a range of subjects to give me flexibility until I really decide what I want to do with my future.
- What is a fact not many people know about you?
I have flat feet! Sounds basic but it has given me a lot of pain and caused sport injuries in my legs, ankles, and feet. Two years of many physio appointments and specialist consultants has now led to me having custom made insoles which thankfully are helping so I can continue to play football.
- What is your biggest ick?
There are a lot of things that give me the ‘ick’ but I hate feet and anyone with gross feet I really can’t stand! Weird cos I’m the one with flat feet!!!
- Tell us about what you enjoy at Prospect 13…
I just love the random conversations that we can have in between work and the fact that everyone is friends. It is a really relaxed office that is fun to be in.
- We know you are Cerri’s youngest daughter, tell us what your Mum is like at home?!
Mum is the exact same in the office as she is at home. She is really funny unintentionally and always says it how it is. She will back-up the people that she loves and is insanely loyal.
- If you could have any superpower for a day, what would it be and how would you use it?
I would love to be able to teleport to get free travel around the world! Australia, Thailand, and Canada would be the first three places I would head to…
